PRLog (Press Release) – Nov 20, 2010 – The Sunshine Clothes Dryer is a four-arm, rotary, umbrella-style outdoor clothesline. It features rugged, yet attractive, construction throughout - built to hold plenty of laundry and to withstand the elements year-round.
The umbrella portion of the Sunshine Clothes Dryer features four 7-foot wood arms (yellow pine), dipped in orange enamel. The 7-foot arms are arranged to provide support and maximum hanging area: the distance diagonally, corner-to-corner, is 13-feet; longest distance between arms is nearly 9-feet (wide enough for king size sheets). A 14-gauge galvanized steel spider assembly provides strength and support. The rope for hanging clothes is 132-feet long, made of durable and easy-to-clean polyethylene; rows of rope are spaced far enough apart to allow optimum amounts of sunshine and air to dry clothes. A "quick-set" lock adjust keeps line tight, says the company. 1/2-inch X 19-gauge galvanized steel arm braces complete the sturdy umbrella construction.
Sunshine Clothes Dryer's steel center post is 6-feet tall, 2-inch O.D. 18-gauge. It rests in a rust-free PVC ground socket, which does not require concrete for installation. This arrangement allows the Sunshine Clothes Dryer to be removed for lawn mowing and other yard use, and for storage. An included socket cap keeps debris and water out when the pole is not in place.
With its four wood arms and ample rope length, the Sunshine Clothes Dryer can hold 4 to 5 washer loads and up to 4 king size sheets. Its rotary design allows the breeze and sun to constantly dry laundry.
When not in use, the umbrella arms fold up against the post and for storage.
The entire unit comes completely assembled, ships UPS or FedEx direct from the manufacturer.
