Our Sunshine Clothes Dryer, the original umbrella style clothes line, has been selling to families in the USA for 98 years. We build a clothesline that is durable, folds up for storage, is assembled and fully roped. All metal components are heavy gauge galvanized steel. The Four) 7’ Southern Yellow Pine, straight grain Arms are dipped in VOC free, water reducible, industrial orange enamel paint. The Arms flex as lines are filled to distribute weight. Over the years Southern Yellow Pine has proven to be resistant to weather and insects. The rope is one piece polyethylene (with ultraviolet inhibitors). This is a large clothesline and has many more features proven by the test of time. Our Sunshine Clothes Dryer was patented in 1915 and has been in use ever since.
